Built to
Bring Order to
Complex Work

OUR STORY

In his years managing large capital programs, Shoreline founder Mike Crago saw a persistent misalignment. While owners were focused on long-term outcomes and community impact, many construction management firms were incentivized to prioritize volume and profit. In 2023, he set out to build a different kind of firm, one grounded in service, stewardship, and better outcomes.

Today, Shoreline is a senior-led, high-performance team supporting some of the West Coast’s most complex capital programs. With billions in construction under management and more than $30 million in owner-realized savings, we’ve shown that the right combination of people, process, and purpose consistently outperforms scale.

Our goal is simple. To be a firm that never compromises on service, stewardship, or long-term impact.

Our Approach

Shoreline brings clarity and control to complex programs by creating the steady conditions where teams can focus, communicate, and execute without unnecessary turbulence. Owners hire us for the environment we cultivate: structured, transparent, steady, and relentlessly aligned with their goals.

OUR MISSION

Bring clarity to complexity by aligning people, process, and purpose in the delivery of meaningful work.

OUR VALUES

Be Good Humans.

Treat every person with humility and respect. Listen first, communicate with clarity and care. Lead with candor, kindness, and intention, prioritizing others over self.

Practice Stewardship.

Make decisions that have lasting, positive impacts in the communities we serve.

Own The Outcome.

Approach all we do with curiosity, tenacity, and integrity. Seek deeper understanding, lean into challenges, and learn continuously, fostering new ideas that elevate the practice.

Our Impact

We measure impact by what holds up after we leave: systems that outlast any single engagement, teams that perform better because the work was run well, and standards that raise the bar for everyone at the table. In our community, the hospitals, clinics, fire stations, and civic spaces we help deliver are the infrastructure of everyday life. That's the kind of impact worth building toward.
